Arif Aliyev: «about the system of trainings that Kyrgyzstani journalists need»
The main difficulty is about the fact that the memories of the tragic events of June 2010 are still there and still fresh in the minds of the Kyrgyzstani journalists. Your country has very weak independent media, which, in fact, can also be taken as a positive factor. It occurs easier to work with the group given the fact that at the initial stage of training one always has to deal with challenging barriers. Read more...

Ashot Melikyan: «about the methodology that was used at the training»
Our methodology is based on the previous experience that journalists and media-organizations in Armenia and Azerbaijan have gained by working together on the joint projects. It can be fairly called ‘the foundation’ for the training. Azerbaijani and Armenian media-organizations have established initial contacts as early as in the mid-90s. The meetings were very intense given the alienation and isolation that came along with the Karabakh conflict. At the time of cease-fire the journalists were the first ones to improve professional relations. Read more...
